Rick Carter Designs began offering multimedia design services in 2007. The business is family owned and operated, with Rick Carter (yours truly) developing most of the designs, and personally managing each project from start to finish.
Who will create your project?
When you purchase a website or other multimedia project, I will personally guide you every step of the way. I will answer your questions, but my most important job is listening to you. By listening closely, I will clarify what you have in mind, both visually and functionally. I will then explain the options we can use to achieve your goal (in as much, or as little, detail as you would like).
Background
So, if I am to play such a vital role in completing your project, you may want to know a bit about my background.
I have an Associate in Science Degree in Multimedia, and an Associate in Arts Degree in Psychology. Both degrees are from San Diego Mesa College (4.0 GPA for each). I also completed a 9 month, 875 hour Interactive Multimedia Certificate program.
Prior to going into the multimedia business for myself, I worked as a video game designer and am credited on several internationally released titles. These games have received a variety of awards including a "Best Strategy Game" award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
I teach computer and multimedia related classes at The Learning Choice Academy, a San Diego Charter School. I also offer computer and multimedia tutoring services in the San Diego area and online.
